This was another boy we were going to hold on to but at 6 months
of age we sold him to our long time friend Al Gersich. He had just lost two of his beloved whippets and we wanted him to have our "Blister" to help with the pain of his loss. Al did wonders with this boy. In 2007 Al took Ember,(his new name) to the ASFA I.I. And Ember won BOB.. The next day he was entered in the Best of the Best of the ASFA I.I. and he won that too. What a weekend. Ember has also done well in the race world. He has finished his ORC title in the 2008 season with a bundle of top tens to his credits. Good Job, Al. The American Whippet Club is reporting that Shadow Run Sun Burn has made it to #15 out of the Top Twenty of the NOFCA for 2009. Congratulations and stay safe Ember.
